A Father's Story

My name is Deverron Robinson. The thing that connects me to the disability community is my son, Shamel Isaac. He has ASD, and I love him so much.

Shamel is 7 years old. He was completely nonverbal until just 6 months ago. He is now developing and learning at a rapid pace, and as a family, we could not be more proud of him.

How TalkTools Made a Difference

Knowing that through therapy Shamel will gain independence has been a source of great hope for our family. The TalkTools kits have been especially valuable in addressing his apraxia of speech, lip rounding, tongue protrusion, sound production, and so many other skills that are fundamental to communication.

"The TalkTools kits have been very helpful when it comes to dealing with his apraxia of speech, lip rounding, sticking his tongue out, saying his sounds, and just so many more things that are so vital to communication."

Thank you, TalkTools. We are grateful.
